Beat School for Middle School
Ages: High School aged students, 15-17 years old
Dates: Saturdays, April 5, 2025- August 30, 2025
Time (1.5 hrs): 4:00-5:30 PM
Location: RecordBook Studios, 13237 Saticoy St, North Hollywood, CA 91605
Instructors: Jason D. Harris & Chris Phipps
Capacity: 10 students per class
Monthly Pricing: $150.00 per month. You will be charged every 30 days from time of enrollment. You can cancel at any time and will not be charge the following month.
About Beat School for Kids: We elevate your child’s music class at Beat School- A revolutionary program empowering the next generation through music production, songwriting, and performance.
Class Experience: Each class is an opportunity for your child to embrace a new challenge in music production technology. Through hands-on learning, your child is more likely to remain engaged and to build upon their creative problem-solving skills.
Cancellation Policy: We don’t offer refunds unless class is cancelled.
Notes: Your child must have their own laptop or tablet. We provide each child with a mini keyboard and headphones. If you do not have access to a laptop or tablet, please email us at mindofthenoise@gmail.com to inquire about borrowing one during class.

My name is Jason D. Harris. After being asked to teach a group of kids music production in September 2023, I was inspired to make Beat School a full fledge music production program. Since then, I’ve had the honor of working across the Los Angeles region teaching hundreds of students the principles of beat making and technological entrepreneurship. With the launch of Beat School, I’ve condensed my 15+ years in the music industry experience and partnered with my genius music industry colleagues to mentor your child. The best part? Your child gets a chance to discover music production, entrepreneurship, performance, and careers in the music industry.
My name is Christopher Phipps (Phippa) originally from New York City. I’ve been working with youth, grades 2 through high school since 2008. Empowering the youth through motivational speaking engagements, small group sessions, fashion shows, talent shows, music camps and performance opportunities has been and is my passion. I love teaching youth the importance of utilizing the gifts they have now to start living their dream today and not waiting until they're older. The time is now! So i’m utilizing my gifts in Song Writing, Musical Performance and Dance to add creative and unique elements to Beat School for Kids.
